I, Lawrence L Gaffney of Nevada City, in the County of Nevada @kty, State of california,
of the age of forty-nine years, being of sound and disposing mind and memory and not acting
under duress, menace, fraud, or undue influence of any person whatever, do make,, publish anit!
declare this my last WI11 and Testament, in manner following, that is to say:
Finst: i direct that my body be decently burried with proper regard to my station and con~
dition in life, and the circumstances of my estate.
Second: I direct that my executor hereinafter named, as soon as he has sufficient funds
in hid hends, pay my funeral expenses, the expenses of my last illness and the allowance made
to my famil;.
Third: I declare that all my property is community property of myself and my wife Lizzie
L: Gaffney acquired since our marriage; and that she is by law entitled to one half thereof.
Fourth: I give, devise and bequeath all my estate subject to my testamentary dispositions
to my children, Minnie Gaffney aged fourteen years, Eugene J Gaffney aged twelve years, Sac W
Gaffney aged ten years and Geneva N. Gaffney aged eight years, to be divided shsre sand share :

Lastly. I hereby nominate and appoint Walter D Vinton of Nevada City, in the County of Nevade
state of California, the executor of this my last will and testament, without bonds. Giving :
and granfing unto my said executor full power and authority to sell, lease, mortgage or dis-—

courts and as fully as I myself could do if living.
