Rich Rock.
Curfy and Blam had seven tons of
rock from their ledge crushed at
Jones’ mill this week, and the results proved what has been said of .
the richness of. the*rock. ~ It paid .
$500 tothe ton.’ During thé-time
they were taking it outthey ‘colleet=
ed some of the specimens, and they
are estinrated to be worth at least
two thousand dollars. ‘The rock was
taken from a shuft—ina ‘distance of
“about fifteea feet, aud out of a drift .
six or eight-feet long, and was notas”
