REVISED ORDINANCE NO. 7.) ~~
An Ordinance regulating the Issue of licenses.
HE.TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF NEVADA, do ordain as_ follows:
Section 1. Licenses required; Penalty. It
shall not be lawfal for any person within the
corporate limits of the City of Nevada, to
yursue any calling or transactany business
Pereinafter mentioned, until he or she or
they have taken out a license therefor, and
yaid for the same as hereinafter provided; and
. for every violation of this Ordinance, the party
offending shall be subject to 4 penalty of
‘not leas than twenty or more than One Hindred Dollars, or by an erie asa in the
City Prison not to exceed ten days. ;

with the section revised at this meeting is

An Ordinance establishing and providing for
the construction of Sidewalks.
TP\HE TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF NEVADA, do ordain as follows:
Section 1. It is hereby declared necessary
for the public convenience that sidewalks
shall be established and built upon the seyeral streets, and in such manner as is hereinafter named.
Section 2, On north side of High street,
from the corner of Nevada street to Washington street.to Parker's gate,—five feet wide.
“On north side of Spring street; from the
corner of Bridge street or Hunt's. Hall to the
corner of Pine stréet, connecting with Kistle’s sidewalk=five feet wide
On south-east side of Bridge street from
the corner of Broad street to the corner of
Spring street four feet wide.
Section 3. Sidewalks of 4 and 5 feet wide
shall consist of three stringers 3x4, with
