The Justice of the Peace of Nevada Township shall for all services rendered the City of Nevadain each crintinal case when contested, receive the sum of Three Dollars. If the defendant pleads guilty where the fine is not collected he shall receive One Dollar, to be paid out of the city treasury; rovided, however, that in case the fine should be collected from the defendant, the fee of said Justice shall be retained out of the money so Collected, the balance to be paid into the City Treasury by the Marshal, takihg his receipt therefor.
