It shall be the duty of the owner, oceupant of every dwelling house, kitchen, storehouse, shop. or other buildings in which a stove or stoves are used within the corporate limits of the city of Nevada, to connect every stove pipe, used in said building, with a brick flue or cnimney, at. or below the sana where said pipe passes the first wall or ceiling, in such a manner that the pipe shall not pass nearer than four inches of any wood or other combustible material, said chimney to extend thirty s)x inches above the
roof or outer wall of said buijding. Sec. 2. It shail be the duty of the owner or occupant of every tenan‘ed building within the corporate limitsof the city of Nevadato construct aad keep on hand a ladder of sufficient length to reach the roof of said buildin, to be used iu case of fire. See. 3.
