EARTHQUAKE.—The people of our city Were startled on W ednesday night and yesterday moruing, by a couple of regular San Francisco “shakes.” The first shock occurred on Wedneslay might, at hatf-past 10 welock, but was so slight that few felt it.— The one yesterday morning was more severe.
