Tender lungsare not more easily affeeted by these Vic'ssitudes than féeble ‘stomachs. If there is a tendency in the system to indigestion, billidneness, » or “bowel complaints, the variabléweather of ’early Spring is almost:sure to develop one or other of these aliments. Intermittent fevers are also more prevalent in the spring months than at any these facts, this seems to be a proper time to invite especial attention to Hostetter’ s Stomach Bitters, a medicine which for a long series of years, haz proyed superior to all others as aremedy for the above named disorders, and as protection against*the miasm@ which frequently produces, and always aggravates them. It was formerly the practice to give violent cathartics as ‘“‘spring medicines,” nor is the custom yet entirely obselete. Nothing however, can be more ill-judged and unphilosophical. The chilling moisture with which the ait is loaded at the breaking up of winter, presses heavily upon the vital forces of the ‘body, and reinforcement, not dépletion, is what it reqnires, The Bittersis a genial and excellent tonic, a moderate alterative, and. just enough of an apperient.to regulate without convulsing the bowels. Itia therefore, a specific peculiarly adapted to the present season. PAIN KILLER! ,PROVIDENCE, RB. I.
