The effect ‘of starting up the ‘Pennsylvania, the Orleans and Mulberry mines, employ‘ny a number of men .as they do, must be perceptibly felt'in the business of the town. Every new claim opened and every idle man set to work benefits the business of the conimanity, and hence all enterprises calculated to-“in‘crease the number of producers should ibe encouraged. Business prospects prise. A mumber of such have been. ‘inaugurated and we shall look fora rapid increase of business in the future. Another Excitement. Totn: Robinson, who has receatly re‘tarned from a visit to the East, informs ‘us that there is considerable excitement along the railroad about reported rich mines some twenty miles from Salt Lake. Astory is teld of a carpenter ‘who recently left the employ of the railroad with one dollar for the wines, and who has since sold out his claims. for $30,000.It is also said that all Mormondom is wild with excitement over the new discovery. These_are anong the reports’ heard by Mr. Rob-inson, but we believe he saw no one who spoke from personal knowledge. Here appears to be a chance for an-other big excitement, but we would advise those who run after rich things to Other excitements have demonstrated thatthe mines that are rich afar off do not hold out when seen. A Chapter of Facts. ‘Space is valuable in-a newspaper,-anditis therefore proposed in this advertisement to condense a yariety of facts, important to the public, into a small compass. Those facts refer to Hostetter’s Stomach Bitters—what that celebrated medicine is, and what it will do. In the first place then, the article is a etimulant, tenic and alterative, consisting of a combination of an absolutely pure spirituous agent with the most valuable medicinal vegetable substances that Botanic researcli has placed at the disposal of the chemist and the physician. These ingredients are compounded with great care, and in euch proportions as #o prodace a preparation which invigorates without exciting the general system, and tones, regulates and controls the stemach, the bowels, the liver and the minor secretive organs.
