mare ‘‘Whitehall Maid” and Watt's “Hon«
est Ance,” whieh came off yesterday afternoon ever the Glenbr: ok track, was won by
the latter. The race was best three in five.
The mare wae in poor condition and was
withdrawn after the second heat. thus giving
“*Ance” the race. Time, 2:414 and 2:36}. .
