. Seetion 1. Thata whe Road and Street Poll
fax of Three Dollars is hereby levied, for
the fiscal year 1890-1891, upon each male
inhabitant of the City of Nevada, over the
age of 2i-and utidertheage of 50 years for
City Koad and Street purposes, which said
poll.tax shai] become due and shall become
collectable on and after the Twenty-Second
da} of June, 1890, inthe manner provided
by law.
Section 2. TheCity Marshal of said City
of Nevada is hereby made collector of said
tax and shall collectthe same in the manner provided by law,and upon the neglect
or refusalof any person liable thereof’ to
pay said tax after demand, said Marshal
must collect the same by seizure and sale
of any personal property owned by such pergon. Said sate may be made after three
hours verbal notice of time anu place, and
the provisions of Sections 38791, 3793, 3794,
$795 and 8796 of the Politieal Code—ofCahforniashall apply to and govern such s#eizure and sale.
