Came to the Right Place. While in San Francisco Mrs. E. Phillips, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Dreyfuss of this city, con-. tracted a throat disease which caused her much trouble and suffering. Subsequently she went to Los Angeles, and although under constant medical treatment of an experienced and eminent practitioner, she not only failed to find relief, but continued to grow worse. Her physician at Los Angeles finally told her that she .eould not hope to recover in that climate. By his advice she came to this city last month to try the effect of the pure and bracing mountain air. She has improved in health very much since arriving, and hopes by remaining awhile longér to entirely recover from the ailment. = ——s Dearth of Court Business.
