NEW OFFICES FOR THE NEVADA CITY Superintendent of Schools and a meeting room for the Board and other school related groups will be provided in the old kindergarten building, Washington and Main when a current remodelling program is completed. The 2200 square foot structure after being used for classes for nearly 30 years was condemned by the State on the grounds that it was not earthquake proof This condemnation, however, does not preclude its use for offices or meeting space The exterior will be covered with plyboard, windows added and the interior refurbished and carpeted. The new quarters are expected to be ready for occupancy within four or five months. —Our Correspondent usOUd 1421S—
