  • Professor Edward Muller, his wife, Ismerie, and daughters, Fernande and Marie, circa 1890. We know that the Muller’s son Carl, see next pictures, was born in the home in 1861. The daughters did not marry and remained in the home. The Ghidottis purchased the home from the Muller family in 1950. The photo was published in The Independent in 1976. It is from the Dr. Vinton Muller collection. Vinton, named after the owner of Vinton’s Drug Store on Broad Street, was Carl’s only child and practiced medicine in Reno.
