RS ATTENTION !!
t. BEERS WOULD CALL PARTICular attention to his improved
AMALGAMATORS,
For Gold or Silver Ores, which are claimed to possess the following advantages over all others now in
use, viz, ?
Ist. They are equally adapted to the amalgama
tion of Ores, either Wet or Dry crushed,
2d. Being Self-teeding and Self-dixcharging, they
require but little attention; one man being suilicient
to attend thirty or more,
3d. During the process of amalgamation. they
reduce the ore to an almost impalpable powder, in
close contact with @ large surface of mercury, but
do not grind the mercury,
4th. Itisclaimed tor them, and demonstrated,
that they will save from 25 to 100 per cent. more
. gold than eny other amalgamator now in ure,
The Amalgamating Vans are put in seta of three,
. discharging into each other; three of which setts
. are capable of thoroughly amalgamating at least ten
tons of gold ore per day, and, with a slight additian,
. are equally adapted to the amalgamation of Silver
. Ores by any ot the old or new processes,
. The Pans ave about four feet in diameter, and
supplied with a false, perforated, or grate bottem,
upon which the grinding is done, which allowa the
gold, as soon as united with the mercury, to settle
. beneath the grate, and, remain as safe’ as if under
. lock and key,
. Incleaning up the pans and separating the ama). gam but one tenth of the usual labor is required.
_ The parts most expoved to wear are made of hard
. iron, and easily replaced, at trifling cost.
All orders for these Amalgamatora can be sent to
PETER DONAHUE, on Fret street, San Fraucisco, at
whore Foundry they can be seen in operation.
