The Albany Eeicker becker copies a recent
article from the Mirror on the “Power of the
Press,” and adds :
“The article is suggestive. No business
man reads it without perceiving that the road
to wealth runs through the advertising col
umns of @ first class newspaper. For $500
we will agree to double within 80 days, the
business Of any well kept hotel in the city. If
you doubt it, try it on. If we fail, we'll forfeit a thousand.’
