The People of the State of California, represented in Senate. an
Assembly, do enact as follows : :
Section 1. That section two of an Act to separate the
office of County Auditor from the office of County Record
and to regulate official salaries in the Counties of Fres
Tulare,and Kern, approved March-eighth, eighteen hund:
and seventy-six, is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec
tion 2. The County Clerk of each of the Counties of Fresn
and Kern shall be ex officio Recorders of his county, sh
ualify and give bonds as required by law, and the Cou
‘lerk of each of the Counties of Tulare, Fresno, and Kern?
and the County Recorder of Tulare County are entitled
CompensCharge, collect, and receive, to their own use, for servic

Sec. 2. All Acts and parts of Acts, so far as the same are
in conflict with this Act, are hereby repealed. :
Sec. 3. ° This Act shall take effect and be in force
and after its passage.

Cuap. LXXXIII.—An Act to authorize the Board of Sw
ors of Nevada County to remove the bodies of certain dece
persons.

The People of the State of California, represented in Sena
Assembly, do enact as follows : ;
Secrion 1. The Board of Supervisors of Nevada C
are hereby authorized and empowered to disinte
remove, or cause to be disinterred or removed, all
remains interred in the Moore’s Flat Cemetery, and
them to be re-interred in the cemetery near said town
as the Moore’s Flat Cemetery. :
Sec. 2. It shall be the duty of said Board of Supe

TWENTY-SECOND SESSION.
Cuap. LXXXIV.—An Act for the relief of Julius Blume.
{Approved February 25, 1878.]
The People of the State of California, represented in Senate and
Assembly, do enact as follows :
Section 1. The sum of three hundred dollars i 4 i
appropriated out of the State treasury, payable out A path ton author
moneys not otherwise appropriated, to pay Julius Blume for on
services rendered in arresting Juan Salazar, who, on the
twenty-first_day of October, eighteen hundred and seventysix, in the County of Marin, robbed one William Brown, on
the highway, while in his private conveyance, and afterwards
murdered said Brown, for which crime of murder the said
eolezat wasiponvicled and executed.
SEc. 2. 1e Controller of State is directed to draw his contwnte
warrant on the State Treasurer, payable as eran es te tra
of Julius Blume, for the sum pf three hundred dollars, and
the State Treasurer is directed to pay the same. ;
Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately.
