In the city of New Orleans, a Louisiana States’ Rights association was formed on the night of the 22d of November, which talked rather stoutly in favor of secession, but nothing of consequence was expectcockades and ‘palmetto flags on the 26th, but the gallant and loyal Baltimoreens treated it: with groans and hisses. It is tidiculously useless to preaeh secessionism in Maryland. The Marylanders have too. many glorious. recollections of their own, all intimately associated with the American Union, to be led astray by the ignis fatuus of cotton state politics.
