Governor, and countérsigned by the Jontroller,
and indorsed by the Treasurer of State, and shall
have the seal of the state affixed thereto, and
shall. date from the first day of Julv, A Dp, 1864,
and be made payable at the office of the Treasurer of atate within twenty days after the date of
their issue. ;
Coupons for Interest, .
Sxo.3. The-coupons for interest shall be attached to each bond, so that each one may be reorthe remaining coupons. The said coupous
shall be consecutively numberéd. and wigned by
the Treasurer of state, and shml represent the
semi-annual interest on the bond to which they
are attached.

above named officers shall keep a careful and correet recordof the number and denomination of

Sxo.6. For.the payment of the principal and
4ntereat of the “Asylum Bonds’ authorized by
this Act, there shail be levied, on the first Monday in March Ab, eighteen hundred and sixty
four, and each year thereatter. until the intercst
and principal of said bonds shall be fully paid, an
annual tax of three-fourths of one -per cent on
each ove hundred dollars of value of all the taxable property in this state, which tax shall be as~
sessed and collected as other state taxes, and by

Sne.8 The Treasurer of State shall keep a
full and particular account of intereat paid and
bonds redeemid, and render the same to the
Controler monthly, and it shall be hisduty to
pay the interest on the said bonds, when the
same falls due, from the Fuad provided by this
Act,
