The discoverer of any vein or lode
shall inimediately, upon making a dis-'
covery, erect at the point of discovery
a substantial monument, and pbdst}
thereon a notice which shall contain: . ,The name of theclaim; the name of]
the locator ; the date of the discovery ;
the somber of feet claimed in length . ”

Recorder of the county within twenty

Parlor and will be sent to each Parlor
in the State, Stating that the Native
Sons of this city want the Grand Parlor next year, and asking their support .
in the matter. The letter also states
the attractions Nevada City offers as

and some of the inducements held out
for visitors to come here, and assuring
them of a cordial welcome.
