late last night, may result in the death
of Edgar W. Calkins, whose head was
nearly severed from his body, presumably by « razor’ in’ the bands of
Jobn Joinsky. The trouble is said to
have occurred at Second and Mission
Third and Jessie streets, where he fell
from exhaustion and was taken-to the
Receiving Hospital: About the same
time Joinsky, carrying a bloody razor,
rushed into a saloon at the corner of
Third and Mission streets, He was arrested and lodged in prison. Neither
of the men will taik about the. affair.
