sent a circular to Chief Sullivan describing a lot.of valuable jewelry revently stolen from a store there. Detectives Fisher and Fitzgerald iearned
that a ‘well-dressed young man had
shown a fine gold ring set with a number of pure white diamonds to an uptown jewelét, at the same time expressing a desire to ascertain its value.
This afternoon, the detectives happened to be ina downtown variety show
