MINING COMPANY, a Corporation, Defendant, ;
hereas on the 22d day of March, 1886,
p C. Galbraith recovered a judgment in
the Superior Court of the State of California,
in and for the County of Nevada, against
Grafton Mining Company, a corporation, for
the sum-of six hundred and fifty six 10-100
dollars, with interest at the rate of seven
per cent. per annum till paid, from the date
of said judgment, together with thirty 95-100
dollars, costs and disbursements atthe date
of said judgment and accruing cests as appears to us of record. :
And whereas, the Judgment roll in the
action in which said judgment. was entered
is filed in the Clerk’s office of said Court,
and the said judgment was docketed in said
Clerk’s office, on the day and year first above
written. And the sum of $687.05, with interest fromMarch 22d, 1886, at seven. per
cent. perannum and accruing costs. in the
sum of $3.00 is now (at the date of this writ)
actually due on said judgment.
I have this day attached, levied upon and
taken into execution all the right, title,
claim and interest of Grafton Mining Com
pany, a Corporation, defendant, of, in and
to the following deacribed real estate and
water right, standing on the records of said
Nevada County in the name of Grafton
Mining Company, a ‘corporation, and particularly descrihed as follows, to-wit: That
certain eed or parcel of mining property,
situate, ving and being in the Washington
Mining district, Washington Township,
County and State aforesaid, and being a
portion of the mine, known, described and
recorded in the records of the said Nevaca
County, as the Yuba Canyon mine, and sometimes known asthe Waters mine, The said
portion of said mine, consisting of two !oalong the ledge, and beginning on the
South bank of the South Yuba river, about
one-half mile easterly from the Eayle Bird
mine, about fifty (50) feet north from the
mouth of the tunnel on said premises, about
fifty (50) feet north from the blacksmith
shop at said mine, and about one hundred
J and fifty (150) feet easterly and northerly
from the ding-house, lodging house and
mill on said premises, and running thence
4 southerly along the ledge three thousand
(3000) feet, with a unifor.n width of surface
ground of three hundred (300) feet on each
side from the center of said quartz ledge.
