do ordain us follows:
SECTION 1,
The City of Nevada hereby grants to Sous

right and privilege to construct a Gas Plant and
operate the same, and manufacture Gas fur Il
luminatiou, and sell the same to the inhabitunis of-the City of Nevada, and lay down’
pipes or conduits underground, maintain and

same, inthe public streets, alleys and thorough fares in said City of Nevada,
SECTION: 2.
in a workmanlike manner as not to iuterfere
with trayel upon sald streets.
SECTION 38,
The ssid grantee or assigns may make all necassary excavations in any of said streets, highwaye oralleys forthe purpose of maintaining
said Gas pipe for Illumination in said streets,
and said work shall be done in compliance
which may, during the continuance of this
+ranchise be adopted from time to time by the
Board of Trustees Of ssid City, end shall be
done to the satisfaction of said Board of Trustees.
SECTION 4,
Nothing in this Ordinance shall be construed
