'. CONDENSED TELEGRAMS. Three men were killed in an affray at Lima, O. : The Missouri River flood has caused considerable damage. There will probably be trouble over the will of Henry Bergh. Samuel Waldrop was shot dead by Thomas Davis at Litchfield, Ill. The painters of Cincinnati have ‘struck for more pay and shorter hours. James King, the allezed Sacramento bigamist, was arrested at Lake Tahoe. William Ross was fatally stabbed by Frederick Nobel near Pilot Rock, Oregon. Miss Manuela Gomez was thrown from a carriage at Los Angeles and killed. Triest and Carson, two. horse-thieves three years’ imprisonment. The owners of 10,000 acres of land the Placer County Citrus Colony and will plant oranges on a large scale: Pendleton, Or., last Suuday attacked an employe, who fatally stabbed him. Mrs. Nancy Landis, arrested with Klink for arson at Walla Walla, made three more arrests have been made there of alleged firebugs. ; Santa Rosa has been so overrun by hoodlums at the Sunday excursions that additional police are to be provided on Sunday to prevent petty theft and the insulting of women. A pitched battle occurred at Holyoke, Mass., between 200 boys, at which pistols, stones, sticks, etc., were used. One boy was seriously shot in the neck, and many others injured. Henry Levy who was a few years agoa Wallstreet messenger, has won the first prize in the Paris School of Fine Arts from 340 candidates, eighty of them successful, and Levy wins the title of Premier.
