Whereas, the Board of Trustess of the City of Nevada by ordinance heretofore duly passed by a vote of more than. two-thirds of its mem bers, i.e, by a unanimous vote, approved and published as required by law has determined that the public interest and necessity demand, and whereas the public interest and: necessity do demand the acquisition of lands, water mights, righta of way, reservoirs and the com. struct on and Completion of asystem of water wo ks that will furnish for the present! and future an ample supply of pure, wholesome water to protect the health, comfort,’ satety and “best interests of the Inhabitants of sald ‘City, and that the cost thereof is too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual incomé and revenue of said City ; and Whereas, said Roard of Trustees has deter mingd and does hereby determine that the ase sessed value of all property, both real and personal, in said City for taxable purposes is the sum of $855,299.00 and that the annual income snd revenues of sald City do not amount to more than the sum of $8000.00; and, Whereas, by resolution said Board aid duly appoint and authorize F. Underneath which shall be printed in one line the following: “For incurring the indebted: Ness,’’ to the right of which shall be printed in one square the word “Yes" with a blank square te the right thereof, and immediately below the same, in one line, the following: ‘For tnourring the indebtedness,” to the right of which shall be printed, in one square, the word "No," with a blank square to the right thereof.
