That the public interest and necessities of thd City of Nevada and its tubabitants demand the acquisition, construction and completion of such public water works, Section 5. An soon as the polle are closed in each of ‘aid precinets the Judges of election shall can‘ase the votes cast in their respective precincts for and «gainst incurring the tadebtedness tforesaid, as tearly as practicable, in the manner srovided by law for canvassing votes for municia) officers elected at elections held'in the City of Nevada. The returns for the said precincts shall be made out and signed in the usual form ry the officers of election for gaid precincts repectively,and shall be forthwith deposited vith theClerk of the Board of Trustees ot said ‘ity of Nevada, together with the ballots cast st wald special electi in said precincts respectively. The Board of Trustees of sald City halles secon asthe said returns and ballote from all of said precincts have been deposited with said Clerk Canygss the said returns in the manner proided by law for canvassing reurns of election of municipal officers of said ‘ity. If, upon the canvasa of eaid returns it shall be ascertained and determined that at least two thirds of allthe voters voting at said ipecial election have voted im favor of the ‘foresaid proposition for {incurring the said indebtedness { $60,000.00, then the bonds of sald ‘ity of Nevada hereinbefore mentioned shall be issvied by the Roard of Trustees as herein »y law provided, and aa hereafter prescribed by said Board.
