Mrs. Ragna Sovern. of Elgin, Oregon, was a house guest at the Lester
Brown home in Camptonville last
week. Mrs. Lester Brown and Mrs.
Clarence Hanson accompanied her as
far as Sacramento on her return
home and stayed overnight in Sacramento. The Brown’s youngest
daughter was named for Mrs. Sovern.
Camptonville Womans Club sponsored a card party at the home of
Clifford” . Williams last Saturday
night. Prizes ‘were taken by Warren
Pauly and Mrs: J. D. Rittenhouse
for penochle and Mrs. Ida Mae Clark
was winner at Tripoly. Refreshments of cake and coffee were served
at the end of the evening.
Mrs. Etta Mae Klenzdorf and Mrs.
(Catfield have been added to the
Community Church choir.
Mrs. Clarence Hanson, Mrs: Ragna

Brown drove to Downieville last
week to visit Mrs, Costa.
The Camptonville Ladies Aid held
a special, meeting last Thursday at
the Nelson Stone home. After the
business of the meeting, two members of the aid who had birthdays
that week were presented with birthecards and gifts. Birthdays celebrated were for Mrs. Alvin
