GaIDRATPTA Ty The Gold Flat-PTA held its regular meeting last Friday April 18th, which was well attended with a notable increase in the number of fathers. Discussions were held on the possibilities of securing a school crossing on the lower Grass Valley road and a committee was named to contact all parents interested in this subject. A committee was also named to sponsor a food sale which will ibe held May 10 in Nevada City. An interesting talk was given by Edward Frantz, principal of the Neyada City high school on the difficulties of adjusting a child’s life from grammar school to the great ehangés he encounters entering high senool. After the talk he answered ‘geveral question in an informal discussion. ‘Mr. Hanley reported that he was having trouble in getting enough . menhers for his scout club but that the boys who have enrolled are very anthweiastic.
