The mill at the Standard mine in Sailor Ravine was undermined by the recent high water as were the buildings at the Finney mine in Downieville. Work of driving the tunnel at the latter property has been resuined. The dam in the South Fork at the Gold Point mine went out during the high water. Otto Strand has found a good quartz showing in his property near Goodyear Bar. There promises to be quite a bit of activity in the gravel properties in the vicinity of Mountain House this spring where the Kirkpatrick The recent high water damaged the buildings at the Kate Har€y ming below Forest -when Oregon creek went On a rampage. Plans have been made for ‘the
early resumption of operations at the Table Mountain mine in the Howland Flat district, by the Nevada company $20 acres of virgin ground which adjoins previously rich placer ground The thain tunnel has advanced 1650 feet and will be run until it cuts the channel.
