CHIMNEY FIRE
Max Golaro, engineer of the. fire
department, was called to the Phil
Phariss home at an early hour yesterday morning to extinguish a chimney fire. He found the chimney
blocked with soot and a gas pocket
had formed under the mass. Solaro
stated the house was full of smoke
and had it not been a chimney in
good condition it would have burst.
After ramming a rod down. the
chimney the trouble was cleared up
in a short time.
