N THE SUPERIOR COURT, County of
Nevada, State of California.
In the matter of the estate of Ivory L. Bowman, an Insolvent Debtor, Ivory L. Bowman,
having filed in this Court his petition,
schedule and inventory in insolvency,
from whichvit appears that he is an insolvent debtor, the said Ivory L. Bowman is
hereby declared to be insolvent.
The. Sheriff of the county of Nevada is
hereby directed to take possession of all
the estate,real and personal, of the said Ivory
L. Bowman, debtor, except such as may
be by law exempt from execution, and
of all his deeds, vouchers, books of account
and papers, and to keep the same safely untilthe appointment of an assignee of his
estate. All persons are forbidden to vey
any debts tothe said insolvent, or to deliver any property belonging. to such insolvent
to him, or to any person, firm, or corporation, or association for his use, and the said
debtoris hereby forbidden to transfer or deliver any property until the further order
of this Court, -except as herein ordered, .
It is further ordered that all the creditors
of said debtor be and appear before the Hon.
J.M. Walling, Judge ef the Superior Court,
of the said County of Nevada, in open Court,
of the Courtroum of said Court, in the City of
Nevada, County of Nevada, California, on
he Sixteenth day of January, 1888, at 10
o’clock A. M. of that day,to prove their uebts
and choose one or more assignees of the estate of said debtor.
It is further ordered thatthe erder-be published in the Nevada Daily Transcript, a
newspaper of general circulation, published
in thesaid county of Nevada, as often as the

the County of Nevada, against Leopold Garthe, Plaintiff, for costs, by defendants incurred on appeal tothe Supreme Court in
said cause, forthe sum of One Hundred and
Sixteen Dollars, with interest thereon at
the rate of seven per cent. per annum till
paid, from the date of said Judgment, together with two dollars, accruing costs as
appears of record. And whereas, the Judgment Roll in the action in which said Judgment was entered is filed in the Clerk’s office of said Court, and the said Judgment
was docketed in said Clerk’s office, on the

Dollars ($15 60) costs of suit on the 22d day

certain lot or parcel of land situated in
Bridgeport Township, County of Nevada
and State of California, lying and being
about three hundred yards, more or less,
from P. Purdon’s toll bridge, and on the
north bank of the South Yuba river. Said
land being bounded on the north by P. Purdon’s toll bridge, east by land of P. Purdon,
south by the South Yuba river, and west by
vacant land,with all improvements thereon,
consisting of a boarding house with barn and
shed and all other improvements thereon.
