visitors here this week end,

Misses Edith and Irma Penaglia

Mr. Warner of Sacramento were
visiting here Sunday. Mrs. Victory

former residents.
Miss Carmel Raeder and brother,
Howard, of Sweetland were visitors
here one evening this week.
Ernest Collins of French Gap was
a visitor here recently.
Mrs. Henry Huckins left Tuesday
for Camptonville on a visit to her
daughter, Mrs.A. M. Cleveland and

Well, we all welcome the late
rain and it sure came as a life sayer to all the ranchers on the ridge.

travel since the Yuba Pass has been
made an all year highway and it
looks like summer time te see the

SHAKESPEARE CLUB IS
RESUMING WEEKLY MEETINGS
CAMPTONVILLE, Nov. 16,—The
Camptonville Shakespeare and Current Event Club came to life again
Saturday evening, at a meeting held
at the Groves home on Spring street
The Club has been dormant for several months, due to the members
being busy and uhable to attend to
it, but now meetings will again be
resumed, and Shakespeare will be
quoted frequently, with the usual
current event, local and foreign, being brought up.
Aside from the literary work, the
dent, Mrs. Fred H. Butz; Vice President, Mrs. Acton M. Cleveland;
Treasurer, Mrs. Frank M. Groves;
Secretary, Mrs. Kate Hope Livingston. Membership Committee, Mrs.

evening was spent by all in attendance.
