(2) N. No. 1 PLACER MINING CLAIM, consisting of the East half of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 7, in Township 16, North, of Range 9 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian; EXCEPTING THEREFROM those portions of said claim in confliet with the Mawwee Quartz Mining Claim. The lands adjoining this claim on the North, East and South are patented and the lands adjoining this claim on the West are unpatented. 43) N. NO. 2 PLACER MINING CLAIM, consisting of the West half of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 7, in Township 16 North, of Range 9 East, Mount Diablo ‘Base and Meridjan; EXCEPTING THEREFROM those portions of said claim in conflict with the Mawee Quartz Mining Claim. The lands adjoining this claim on the North, South and West are patented and the lands adjoining on the East are unpatented. The conflict with the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter (or lot 6) in Section 7, Township 16 North, of Range 9 East, M. D. B. & M., and tue conflict with the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 8, Township 16 North, Range 9 East, M. D. B. & M., is expressly excluded: from this application.
