The ball given at Hamilton Hall Friday night for the benefit of a deserving widow lady, was a
great success. The attendance was exceedingly good and the music was very fine. All present had an
evening of great enjoyment. As many purchased tickets who did not find time to attend the ball, and
as the attendance was quite large, we judge that the benefit was substantial.
