‘Couple Married at N San Juan
A candlelight wedding service uniting Claudette
Reed and Calvin Milhous in holy matrimony was solemnized July 29 in the North San Juan Fire Hall.
The Rev. Hartzell Buckner of the Chico Methodist

of flowers. Her only jewelry was a string of pearls,
as something borrowed from her sister, Mrs. Patricia Dale.

tied with streamers resting on a white’ Bible.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Mrs. Patricial Dale was her sister’s matron of
honor. Her gown of light mint tulle over taffeta was
identical to the bride’s and she wore a matching
velvet bow crown. She carried a pink and white carnation nosegay with satin streamers.
Sandra Reed, daughter of the bride, and Michele
Dale, daughter of Patricial Dale, were charming in
their little pink and blue dresses as they preceded
the bride down the aisle, scattering rose petals from
little white baskets.
Mark Reed and Johnnie Milhous, sons of the bridal
couple, lighted the candelabrum.
Frank Milhous, nephew of the groom, served as
best man. Monty Milhous and Robert Reed, sons of
the bridal couple, were the ushers.
4 Angee red 200 guests congratulated and offered
their st wishes to the happy couple at a reception
held in the fire hall following the ceremony.

matching accessories for her daughter’s wedding. Tee
room’s mother received in a dainty printed ensemle. They both wore pink corsages.
The ladies of the North San Juan Methodist church
served the tiered wedding cake, punch and coffee.
Following a short honeymoon trip to Reno and Lake
Tahoe, the couple will be at home on the Milhous
