* By statutory definition, this wage rate includes employer payments for
health and welfare, pension, vacation and similar purposes.
The holidays upon which the holiday wage rate listed above shall
be paid shall be all holidays recognized in the collective bargaining agreement applicable to the particular craft, classification or type of workman
concerned.
Copies of all collective bargaining agreements relating to the
work are on file and available for inspection in the Office of the Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Statistics and Research.
Attention is directed to Section 7-1.01G of the Standard Specifications providing for employment of apprentices on the work. Every such
apprentice shall be paid the standard wage paid to apprentices under the
regulations of the trade at which he is employed. Information relative to
employment of apprentices shall be obtained from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, who is the Administrative Officer of the
California Apprenticeship Council.
Any classification omitted herein shall be paid not less than
$3.925 per hour employer payments as outlined in collective bargaining
agreements on file in the office of the Department of Industrial Relations,
Division of Labor Statistics and Research.
Overtime, Sundays and Holidays --not less than one and one-half
(1s) times the basic hourly rate plus applicable employer payments. The
holidays upon which such rates shall be paid shall be all holidays recognized
in the collective bargaining agreement applicable to the particular craft,
classification or type of workman employed on the project.
The attention of bidders is particularly directed to the provisions
of Section 7-1.01F, of the Standard Specifications, regarding the use of
domestic materials, and to the provisions of Section 8-1.02 of the Standard
Specifications regarding assignment of the contract.
Plans and specifications, including forms of proposal, bonds and contract, but not including che California Division of Highways Standard Specifications, will be furnished to each qualified prospective bidder upon request
to the office of the Director of Public Works, Courthouse, Nevada City, California. A deposit of $15.00 will be required which will be refunded when the
plans are returned in good condition.
No bid will be considered unless it is made on a blank form furnished
by the Nevada County Department of Public Works .and is made in accordance with
the provisions of the Proposal Requirements and Conditions set forth under
Section 2 of the Standard Specifications.
The Department of Public Works Reserves the right to reject any and
all bids.

Commencing at a point in the north line of Jordan Street,
from which the northwest corner of Jordan and Zion Streets
bears South 68° 12’ East 114.97 feet and running thence along
