meeting of the Rough and Ready i = M.L.B. Cust Past Master and Nevada a a B us omers EF) County. Grange Deputy Charles Deardorf was assisted by é Marshal Clara Deardorf in making the installations. The meeting was presided over by the new officers. Their installation was required due to the ill health of the Master elected at the beginning of the present term. C.W.A. Chairman Thelma Lehman announced that the ladies have scheduled a rummage sale for September 14 and 15 with preparations beginning on September 13. Hall chairman Irene Lanzendorfer asked _ the members to approve the _ donation of the hall for two days at the end of August for a hunter safety course and_ the membership agreed. On September 6 the Nevada County Historical Society will be hosted by the Grange for their annual meeting in Rough and Ready. The Evangeline Chapter O.E.S. will hold a skit entitled ‘*A Musical and Tea in 1873”’. All Grange members and friends are invited to attend.
