conducting all community fundraising activities was
the topic of discussion at a meeting of the Western
Nevada County Community Service Council last week
inthe Victorian Room of the National Hotel. Speaker

Because of the Thanksgiving holidays and members going away, the Kentucky Plat 4-H Club $katihg
party was changed from
Nov. 26 to Nov. 22. The
skating party was held at
the Marysville Roller Rink.
Four carloads of 4-Hers
left the ty Flat
School at 6:30 p.m. They
arrived at the roller rink at
7:30 p.m. Everyone enjoyed
himself, although there
were some bruised .bones.
4-Hers attending the party were John McKittrick,

Patrick Lawson, Steve Ashcraft, Mike DeMartini, David DeMartini, Tom Rackerby, Ken Sorenson, Willie

of Nov. 21. The class visited
the home workshop of Robert Wehrman of Newcastle.
Wehrman, who has about
$5800 worth of woodworking equipment, explained
each of.his many. machines
and hand tools. After which
he allowed the group to use
his equipment and helped
them in forming the pieces
for their tool boxes.
Merle Coziah, the electrical leader, helped the
members decide on a style
and size for the tool boxes.
The members will finish
their boxes at home and at
further meetings at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. -Coziah.

Safety rules in electricity
were discussed, then questions about the safety rules
