More Cuts Expected
An. economy-minded Nevada
Irrigation District Board Wednesday took their budget to task
and chopped the tentative 1968
proposed budget figure from
$1,376,800 to $1,269,000 in an
all-day session,

The Nevada Irrigation District's financial picture was outlined by the district's Controller
W. W. Wells at their meeting
last week.
"Our current revenues are not
growing as fast as our current
expenditures," he told the board.

The loan will be used to rehabilitate and enlarge the district's major ditch facilities in
