Wolverine Ski Team Wins Carnival Walking off with eight trophies, Sierra College's unbeaten ski team squeaked to-a-narrow 1.4 point victory in the University of Nevada Winter Carnival last weekend, The-Wolverines had to come from behind on the final day in jumping corhpetition to edge out host Nevada for the team victory 379.5 to 378.3 points. Freshman Kristian Guttormsen won skimeister honors, with Thor Mjoen, also of Sierra, second, andBob Hamilton of Nevada third in individual point totals, Ex-Sieran Nick Stone competed for Utah State and finished eighth in point totals, Sierra's Helge Ronnestad did not compete in the cross country and was not eligible for skimeister points. Chicowas third, the Air Force team fourth, followed by Oregon, Stanford, UtahSt., Ariz. St. and California.
