conducted for the press Monday.
The tour revealed plenty of
water, a spectacular view of the
huge Bullards Dam and some
recreation areas.
The facilities have been constructed by the Tahoe National
Forest. In charge of the area
is Ranger Robert Cron of the
Camptonville headquarters
which lies a few miles east of
the reservoir.
Building recreation areas

drops off quickly, and no beach
has been set: aside for swimming purposes. —
Cron said “the Forest Service was worried about two
items. Pollution of the water
and the ty of fire in

Will the fishing be good?
Eric Gerstung, district fishery biologist for the Department of Fish and Game, has

62 degrees, this water is 40 feet
below the surface." _
This mean if you are trolling,
you need about 250 feet of line and
a four to five ounce sinker to
reach the rainbows which reportedly average 12 to 16
