They settled the issue in a sprint runoff which Gato won, The second place finish qualifies Davis for a try at the national junior championship in the track event. Next weekend, Davis will compete at Santa Rosa in the state junior cross country competition. Fire Department annual dinner Nevada City Fire Department will hold the annual election dinner at Pioneer Park picnic grounds Saturday evening, according to Ted Sigourney, secretary.
