of the 5th we get the followinz:
“The announcement of the sudden death-of Daniel McKeon, junior member of the firm of Young
& McKeon, plumbers and _ gasfittere, last night,;’was,a painful‘ sur. prise tothe citizens of Seattle, and
caused many expressions of sorrow. Deceased was.-a native of
Nevada City, California, and aged
thirty years, nine months and
fourteen days. He-came to this
city about five years ago, and dur-,
firm bearing his name. He was
foreman of fire engine. company
No. 1, and one of the best members in the company.

is from eighteen inches to two feet
