Oates said the lighting program called for 700 feet of electric wire and 250 bulbs for the 85-foot evergreen. Dies from gun wound Christy R. Turnbough, 42, Rancho Cordova, died Saturday afternoon in Miners Hospital, where he was taken after wound-ing his estranged wife and turning the pistol on himself in her North San Juan home. Sheriff Wayne Brown said his department investigated the shooting incident which took place in the residence of Mrs, Cynthia Turnbough late Friday night. Turnbough shot his exwife in the hand and himself in the temple, according to the sheriff, She is reported to be in good condition. Mr. Turnbough is survived by his wife, ~Kayoko Turnbough, Rancho Cordova. Relatives surviving and living in North San Juan are his children Etta Christina Dabis, Rita Jean Turnbough, and Dick and William Turnbough; his mother, Mrs, Anna Turnbough; a sister, Dixie Hamilton; and a nephew and niece, Chris and Leann Hamilton. Four accused of plywood theft Sheriff's deputies arrested three young men and a juvenile Sunday after it was reported they had entered’a locked house under construction in Alta Sierra and were removing plywood, Booked into jail on suspicion of burglary were John Alton Davis, 18, Union Hill; John David Berryman, 19, Grass Valley; and Gaylin Gibson Roger, 19, Grass Valley. The juvenile also was held in jail. Undersheriff Frank Gallino said the sheriff's department and district attorney's office are conferring on formal charges to be placed against the suspects. Two adults and two juveniles accused of auto theft were taken into custody and are being held for Stockton authorities, Highway patrol officers arrested Daniel L, Rathjen, 22, and Linda Diane Rathjen, 23, and the two juveniles, all of Stockton, on Ridge Road Sunday, Harvey Lee Taylor, 30, Gridley, was arrested in Oroville Friday and booked into jail here.
